Tricks for the 11 times table

Up to 9, repeat the digit: 11 × 7 = 77. After that, it’s 10 lots plus one more.

11 × 10 = 110, 11 × 11 = 121 and 11 × 12 = 132 are the ones to learn on their own.
For two-digit numbers, add the digits and put the sum in the middle: 11 × 23 = 2_5_3 = 253.
Most mistakes are 11 × 12 answered as 121, the 11 × 11 answer.
